SOAPAH TERMS OF USE
Website, iOS Application, Android Application, Community and Store
| Effective date | September 7, 2026 |
| Operator | Serrenta Corporation, doing business as Soapah |
IMPORTANT: These Terms contain an arbitration agreement and class-action waiver in Section 26. They also contain important safety disclaimers concerning sodium hydroxide (NaOH), potassium hydroxide (KOH), fragrances, additives and other soap-making materials. Please read these Terms carefully before using Soapah.
1. Agreement to These Terms
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and Serrenta Corporation, doing business as Soapah (“Soapah,” “we,” “us” or “our”). These Terms govern your access to and use of soapahapp.com and any other website that links to these Terms; the Soapah mobile applications for iOS and Android; Soapah accounts; the recipe and lye calculators; recipe libraries; batch, inventory, cost and calendar tools; learning materials; recipe-feedback services; forums and other community features; PDF or other exports; events, partner features and promotions; customer support; and any store, merchandise, packaging-supply or related commerce experience operated under the Soapah name (collectively, the “Services”).
By creating an account, downloading or using an application, purchasing a subscription or product, submitting content, or otherwise accessing the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services. If you use the Services for a business or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and “you” includes that organization.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or independently use the Services. A person under 18 may use the Services only with the active supervision and consent of a parent or legal guardian, where permitted by law. Soap making may involve caustic, hot, reactive, allergenic, flammable or otherwise hazardous substances; minors must never handle such materials except under qualified adult supervision and in accordance with applicable laws, labels and safety data sheets.
You must provide accurate, current and complete account information; maintain the confidentiality of your credentials; use a unique, strong password; and promptly notify us at biz@soapahapp.com of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account unless prohibited by law. You may not sell, transfer, rent or share an account in a way that compromises security or defeats subscription limits. We may require verification, reject registrations or reclaim usernames that impersonate another person, infringe rights or create confusion.
3. The Services and Feature Changes
Soapah offers tools intended to help soap makers formulate, organize, learn, plan and communicate. Features may vary by platform, device, location, subscription tier and application version. Some features described on the website or in a store listing may be experimental, promotional, unavailable, delayed or changed. We may add, remove, limit, suspend or modify any feature, content, integration or plan, subject to applicable law and any required notice for paid subscriptions.
The Services may require internet access, compatible hardware and current software. You are responsible for data charges, device compatibility and installing updates. We do not guarantee that data will synchronize instantly or that every feature will operate offline. If an application update is required for security, legal compliance or compatibility, older versions may stop working.
4. Limited License
Subject to these Terms and your compliance with them, Soapah grants you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-sublicensable license to access and use the Services for your own lawful personal or internal business purposes. For a mobile application, this license is limited to use on devices that you own or control and as permitted by the applicable app-store usage rules, including family-sharing or volume-purchasing rules where applicable.
The license does not transfer ownership. Except where law prohibits the restriction, you may not copy, republish, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, scrape, frame, mirror, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, discover source code, bypass technical restrictions, remove rights notices, use automated means to extract data, overload or disrupt the Services, build a competing dataset or service from the Services, or use Soapah content to train or improve an artificial-intelligence or machine-learning model without our written permission.
5. Soap-Making and Chemical-Safety Warning
SOAP MAKING CAN CAUSE SERIOUS INJURY, PROPERTY DAMAGE OR DEATH. Sodium hydroxide (NaOH), potassium hydroxide (KOH) and other materials used in soap making can be corrosive, caustic, toxic, allergenic, flammable, reactive or hazardous. Mixing lye and liquid generates heat and may produce dangerous splashes or fumes. Fragrances, essential oils, colorants and additives may have usage limits, allergens, sensitization risks, flash points or other hazards.
Before making any product, you must:
- obtain appropriate training and understand the process you intend to use;
- independently verify every input, unit, ingredient identity, SAP value, purity or concentration, calculation and result;
- review and follow current manufacturer instructions, labels, safety data sheets, fragrance or essential-oil usage standards, equipment instructions and applicable law;
- use appropriate personal protective equipment, ventilation, heat-resistant and chemically compatible equipment, spill controls and secure storage;
- keep children, pets, food and uninvolved persons away from the work area; and
- consult qualified professionals regarding chemistry, occupational safety, fire safety, toxicology, allergens and emergency response when appropriate.
Never rely on Soapah as your only calculator, safety control or quality-control method. Do not make, sell, distribute or use a batch if any result appears unusual, incomplete, inconsistent or unsafe. In an exposure or emergency, contact local emergency services and an appropriate poison-control center immediately; do not rely on the Services for emergency instructions.
6. Calculators, Recipes and Results
Soapah calculators, formulas, recipes, suggested properties, percentages, costs, cure dates, inventory levels and other outputs are informational estimates. Results depend entirely on user inputs, assumptions, stored ingredient data, unit conversions, rounding, supplier specifications, software behavior and production conditions. Soapah does not warrant that an output is accurate, complete, safe, stable, marketable, profitable, compliant, fit for skin contact or suitable for any person or purpose.
Ingredient properties and saponification values can vary by source, lot, purity, processing and reference table. You are solely responsible for confirming the correct alkali type and concentration, measuring accurately by weight with calibrated equipment, testing finished products, keeping production records and deciding whether any recipe or batch is safe and lawful.
Soapah-provided recipes may be used to make end products for personal use or lawful sale unless a recipe states otherwise. You may not copy, publish, sell, license, create a competing recipe library from, or distribute the underlying Soapah recipe text, structured data, videos or instructional materials. References to “tried-and-true,” “advanced,” “accurate,” “expert” or similar terms describe intended functionality or experience and are not a guarantee of results.
7. Educational Content and Recipe Feedback
Learning Center materials, articles, videos, podcasts, tutorials, forum answers, partner content and feedback on a submitted recipe are general educational information. They are not medical, dermatological, toxicological, chemical-engineering, legal, tax, accounting, insurance, labeling, regulatory or other professional advice. A response from Soapah, an administrator, a contributor, an expert or another user does not transfer responsibility for your formulation, process, testing, claims or products.
Feedback limits are determined by your plan. An “inquiry” may include one recipe or one reasonably scoped request, as determined by Soapah. We may decline requests that are incomplete, unsafe, unlawful, outside scope, abusive or require professional testing. Response times are not guaranteed, and unused inquiries do not roll over unless we expressly state otherwise.
8. Regulatory and Commercial Responsibility
If you manufacture, market, label, advertise, sell, ship or distribute soap, cosmetics, drugs, household products or other goods, you are solely responsible for all applicable laws and standards. Depending on composition, intended use and claims, a product commonly called “soap” may legally be regulated as soap, a cosmetic, a drug, a consumer product or more than one category. You are responsible for ingredient and allergen review, good manufacturing practices, facility and product requirements, safety substantiation, testing, records, labels, net contents, business identification, warnings, registrations or listings, adverse-event obligations, taxes, licenses, insurance, advertising claims, recalls and all other requirements in every jurisdiction where you operate.
Soapah does not approve, certify, inspect, insure or become the manufacturer, seller or distributor of products you make. You may not state or imply that Soapah endorses, certifies, approves or guarantees your product or business without written permission.
9. Your Recipes, Records and Private Content
As between you and Soapah, you retain ownership of original recipes, notes, photos, batch records, inventory data, calendar entries, business information and other content that you submit privately to the Services (“Private Content”). You grant Soapah and its service providers a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, transmit, process, analyze and display Private Content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, support and improve the Services, comply with law, and exercise rights under these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
You represent that you have all rights and permissions needed to submit your content and permit this processing. You are responsible for the legality, accuracy and integrity of your records. Soapah is not a regulated laboratory recordkeeping system, quality-management system, enterprise-resource-planning system, tax ledger or guaranteed backup service.
10. Public and Community Content
Content you post to a forum, public profile, gallery, review, comment, event page or other public or shared area (“Public Content”) may be viewed, copied, discussed and reshared by others. You retain ownership of your Public Content, but grant Soapah a worldwide, non-exclusive, transferable, sublicensable, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, modify for formatting or accessibility, translate, distribute, publicly display, publicly perform, promote and otherwise use that Public Content in connection with operating, improving and promoting Soapah. This license ends when the Public Content is deleted from active Services, except for copies already shared by others, reasonable backups, legal retention and promotional materials created before deletion.
Do not post confidential formulas, trade secrets, personal information, images of others, regulated claims or material that you do not want made public. Soapah is not responsible for another user’s use of information you voluntarily disclose.
11. Community Standards and Moderation
You may not submit, promote or facilitate content or conduct that:
- is unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, defamatory, obscene, sexually exploitative, threatening, harassing, hateful or discriminatory;
- encourages unsafe chemical handling, intentional injury, illegal drug manufacture or other dangerous conduct;
- infringes intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, confidentiality or other rights;
- contains malware, malicious code, spam, unauthorized advertising, pyramid schemes or deceptive links;
- impersonates another person or falsely suggests endorsement, qualifications or expertise;
- collects, exposes or sells another person’s personal information without lawful authority;
- manipulates votes, reputation, reviews or engagement, or evades enforcement; or
- violates any posted community guideline or feature-specific rule.
We may, but are not obligated to, review, moderate, edit, refuse, remove, preserve or disclose content; restrict features; issue warnings; or suspend or terminate accounts. Moderation decisions may be based on context, risk, law, community safety and operational capacity. Our failure to act does not waive our rights. If an appeal mechanism is offered, you must use it honestly and provide requested information.
12. Intellectual Property and Feedback
The Services, including software, interface, design, trademarks, logos, databases, curated ingredient information, Soapah recipes, text, graphics, audio, video, podcasts, educational materials and compilations, are owned by or licensed to Soapah and are protected by intellectual-property laws. “Soapah” and associated branding may not be used without written permission. Third-party names and marks belong to their respective owners.
If you submit an idea, suggestion, feature request, correction or other feedback, you grant Soapah a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, transferable, sublicensable, royalty-free right to use, commercialize and incorporate it without restriction, attribution or compensation. This does not give Soapah ownership of your independently created recipe merely because you request feedback on it.
13. Copyright Complaints
If you believe content on the Services infringes your copyright, send a written notice to biz@soapahapp.com and Serrenta Corporation d/b/a Soapah, 145-06 243rd Street, Rosedale, New York 11422, USA. The notice should identify the copyrighted work; identify and locate the allegedly infringing material; provide your name, address, telephone number and email address; state your good-faith belief that the disputed use is unauthorized; state under penalty of perjury that the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized agent; and include your physical or electronic signature. We may forward the notice to the user who posted the content. A user may submit a legally sufficient counter-notice. Misrepresentations may create liability under applicable law.
14. Plans, Trials and Subscriptions
Soapah may offer Free, Pro, Premium or other plans. Current features, prices, billing periods and limits are shown at the point of purchase and may differ by platform, location, currency, taxes, promotions or legacy status. Free features may have storage, recipe, export, support or other limits. A paid plan grants access only during the applicable subscription period and does not transfer ownership of content or software.
Paid subscriptions automatically renew for successive periods of the same length unless canceled before renewal through the platform or account through which you subscribed. The applicable store or payment provider may charge your selected payment method, including applicable taxes. Deleting the app or your Soapah account does not necessarily cancel a subscription. You must cancel through Apple, Google Play or the applicable billing provider. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and access continues until then unless the provider states otherwise.
We may change a subscription’s price or features. We will provide any notice and obtain any consent required by law or platform rules. If you do not agree to a change, your remedy is to cancel before the change applies. Failed payments, expired payment methods, chargebacks or store-account problems may suspend or terminate paid access.
15. Refunds
Digital subscription purchases and refunds are administered primarily by the platform or payment provider used for purchase. Canceling a subscription does not itself create a refund for the current billing period. Except where required by law, expressly promised at checkout or granted by the applicable provider, fees for elapsed subscription periods are nonrefundable and there are no credits for partially used periods or unused feedback inquiries. You may contact biz@soapahapp.com regarding a serious technical issue, but Soapah cannot guarantee or override a refund decision controlled by Apple, Google or another provider.
Refunds, returns and replacements for physical goods are governed by the return or refund policy displayed for the store at the time of purchase and applicable law. Nothing in these Terms limits non-waivable consumer rights.
16. Physical Goods and Store Purchases
Soapah or its affiliates may sell merchandise, packaging supplies or other physical goods. Product listings are invitations to offer, and an order is accepted only when we send an acceptance or shipment confirmation. We may reject or cancel orders, limit quantities, correct errors, or require additional verification. If we cancel after payment, we will provide the refund required by law.
Prices, availability, colors, dimensions, quantities, materials and images may change, and displays may not show exact colors. You are responsible for evaluating whether packaging or other goods are compatible with your formulation, fill temperature, ingredients, process, labeling, storage, shipping and intended use. Unless expressly stated in a written specification, goods are not represented as food-grade, child-resistant, tamper-evident, sterile, pharmaceutical-grade or suitable for any regulated use.
Shipping estimates are not guarantees. Title and risk of loss pass as provided by applicable law and the shipping terms shown at checkout. You are responsible for accurate shipping information, lawful import, customs duties and taxes not collected at checkout. Any separate shipping, return, preorder, wholesale or product warranty policy displayed at purchase is incorporated into these Terms.
17. Events, Partners, Advertising and Third Parties
The Services may promote events, vendors, partners, experts, social groups, podcasts, products, advertisements, affiliate offers and third-party websites or services. Unless expressly stated, Soapah does not control or endorse them and is not responsible for their content, availability, security, advice, products, transactions or privacy practices. Your dealings are between you and the third party and may be governed by additional terms. Affiliate or sponsorship relationships may result in compensation to Soapah.
If you attend a Soapah event, additional event terms, safety rules, releases, venue rules or cancellation policies may apply. You are responsible for your conduct, travel, property and decision to participate.
18. Privacy, Permissions and Communications
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and share personal information. The Services may request access to device features such as photos, camera, calendar, approximate location or notifications. You can manage permissions in your device settings, but disabling a permission may limit functionality.
By providing contact information, you agree to receive service-related communications necessary to operate your account or transactions. Marketing emails or text messages require any consent mandated by law and may be stopped using the stated unsubscribe method. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to marketing is not a condition of purchase unless expressly permitted by law.
19. Data Storage, Exports and Backups
You are responsible for maintaining independent backups of recipes, batch records, inventory, cost data, images, calendars, invoices, tax records and other important information. PDF generation, downloads, exports, synchronization and restoration may fail, omit formatting or contain stale data. Before relying on an export, review it for completeness and accuracy. We may impose reasonable storage limits and delete content after account termination, prolonged inactivity, a plan downgrade, legal necessity or the retention period described in our Privacy Policy.
We do not guarantee that deleted content can be recovered. Before canceling, downgrading or deleting an account, export anything you need. Where law gives you a right to obtain, access or delete personal information, follow the process in the Privacy Policy.
20. Acceptable Use and Security
You may not access or use the Services to violate law or another person’s rights; test or probe vulnerabilities without written authorization; introduce malware; interfere with users, networks or systems; bypass access, payment, plan or rate limits; use stolen payment information; create accounts through automation; harvest contact information; send unsolicited communications; falsify metrics or reviews; or assist another person in doing any of these things. You may not use outputs to make unlawful, misleading or unsubstantiated product, medical or safety claims.
We may investigate suspected misuse and cooperate with lawful requests. You agree not to attempt to regain access through another account after suspension without our written permission.
21. Beta, Experimental and AI-Assisted Features
A feature labeled beta, preview, experimental, AI-assisted or similar is provided for evaluation and may be inaccurate, incomplete or discontinued without notice. Such features may generate content based on patterns rather than verified facts. You must independently review all outputs, especially calculations, ingredient suggestions, safety guidance, regulatory information, business advice and public-facing claims. Do not submit confidential, personal or proprietary information to an AI-assisted feature unless the interface and Privacy Policy indicate that the feature is appropriate for that information.
22. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time and may request account deletion as described in the Privacy Policy. Account deletion does not automatically cancel third-party subscriptions, settle balances, erase public content copied by others or eliminate records we must retain.
We may suspend, restrict or terminate access, remove content, or cancel an account if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms; created safety, legal, fraud, security or reputational risk; failed to pay; abused support or feedback; or if continued service is no longer commercially or technically feasible. Where appropriate and legally required, we will provide notice and an opportunity to appeal. Upon termination, your license ends. Sections that by their nature should survive will survive, including intellectual property, content licenses, payment obligations, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity, dispute terms and general provisions.
23. Disclaimer of Warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICES, CONTENT, CALCULATIONS, RECIPES, FEEDBACK, EXPORTS AND PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” SOAPAH AND ITS PARENTS, AFFILIATES, LICENSORS, SUPPLIERS, SERVICE PROVIDERS, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS AND AGENTS DISCLAIM ALL EXPRESS, IMPLIED AND STATUTORY WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, QUIET ENJOYMENT, COURSE OF DEALING AND WARRANTIES ARISING FROM USAGE OF TRADE.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, ERROR-FREE OR COMPATIBLE; THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED; THAT DATA WILL BE PRESERVED; OR THAT ANY CALCULATION, RECIPE, FEEDBACK, EDUCATIONAL MATERIAL, PRODUCT DESCRIPTION OR USER CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE, SAFE, COMPLETE, COMPLIANT, PROFITABLE OR SUITABLE. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN DISCLAIMERS, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
24. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SOAPAH AND THE SOAPAH PARTIES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES; LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, SALES, BUSINESS, GOODWILL OR DATA; BUSINESS INTERRUPTION; PRODUCT LOSS, RECALL COSTS OR REGULATORY PENALTIES; PERSONAL INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE ARISING FROM YOUR FORMULATION OR PRODUCTION ACTIVITY; OR THE COST OF SUBSTITUTE SERVICES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF ALL SOAPAH PARTIES FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID SOAPAH FOR THE SERVICES GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT OR (B) US$100. THIS LIMIT DOES NOT APPLY TO LIABILITY THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE LIMITED, WHICH MAY INCLUDE CERTAIN LIABILITY FOR INTENTIONAL MISCONDUCT, GROSS NEGLIGENCE, PERSONAL INJURY, DEFECTIVE CONSUMER PRODUCTS OR VIOLATIONS OF NON-WAIVABLE CONSUMER RIGHTS.
25. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you will defend, indemnify and hold harmless the Soapah Parties from third-party claims, damages, losses, liabilities, judgments, penalties, recall costs and reasonable attorneys’ fees arising from or related to: your content; your misuse of the Services; your violation of these Terms or law; your recipes, manufacturing, labeling, marketing, claims, sale or distribution of any product; or your infringement of another person’s rights. This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim was caused by a Soapah Party’s conduct for which indemnification cannot lawfully be required. We may control the defense of an indemnified claim, and you will reasonably cooperate. You may not settle a claim imposing liability or admissions on a Soapah Party without written consent.
26. Dispute Resolution; Arbitration; Class-Action Waiver
26.1 Informal Resolution
Before filing a claim, you and Soapah agree to try in good faith to resolve it informally. The claimant must send an individual written notice describing the claimant’s name and contact information, account email, facts, requested relief and a good-faith calculation of the amount claimed. Notices to Soapah must be sent to biz@soapahapp.com and Serrenta Corporation d/b/a Soapah, 145-06 243rd Street, Rosedale, New York 11422, USA. The parties will have 60 days after receipt to resolve the dispute. Any limitation period is tolled during that period to the extent permitted by law.
26.2 Binding Individual Arbitration
Except for matters listed below, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services that is not resolved informally will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) under its applicable Consumer Arbitration Rules or Commercial Arbitration Rules, as appropriate, as modified by these Terms. The Federal Arbitration Act governs the interpretation and enforcement of this Section. The arbitrator may award the same individual remedies a court could award and will issue a reasoned written decision. Arbitration may be conducted by video, telephone, document submission or in person where reasonably required.
26.3 Exceptions
Either party may bring an individual action in small-claims court if it qualifies. Either party may seek temporary or preliminary injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent actual or threatened infringement, misappropriation, unauthorized access, cybersecurity harm or violation of intellectual-property rights while arbitration is pending. Government agencies may enforce applicable law notwithstanding this Section.
26.4 No Class or Representative Proceedings
YOU AND SOAPAH AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS ONLY IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF, CLASS MEMBER OR REPRESENTATIVE IN A CLASS, COLLECTIVE, CONSOLIDATED, MASS OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. The arbitrator may not combine claims of different persons without all parties’ consent. If a court finally determines that a particular claim or request for public injunctive relief cannot lawfully be arbitrated on an individual basis, that portion will be severed and heard in court after the arbitrable claims are completed.
26.5 Opt-Out
You may opt out of Sections 26.2 through 26.4 by emailing biz@soapahapp.com within 30 days after you first accept these Terms. Your notice must include your full name, account email, mailing address and a clear statement that you opt out of the Soapah arbitration agreement. Opting out will not affect other Terms or your access to the Services.
26.6 Jury-Trial Waiver
TO THE EXTENT A DISPUTE PROCEEDS IN COURT, YOU AND SOAPAH KNOWINGLY WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL, EXCEPT WHERE THAT WAIVER IS PROHIBITED BY LAW.
27. Governing Law and Courts
These Terms are governed by the Federal Arbitration Act and, to the extent state law applies, the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If a dispute is not subject to arbitration or small-claims court, the parties consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in the state or federal courts located in Queens County, New York, except that either party may seek permitted injunctive relief in another court with jurisdiction. Mandatory consumer protections of your home jurisdiction remain applicable where they cannot be waived.
28. Additional Mobile-App Terms
28.1 Apple App Store
If you obtained the iOS application through Apple’s App Store, these Terms are between you and Soapah, not Apple. Soapah, not Apple, is solely responsible for the application and its content, maintenance and support, warranties to the extent not disclaimed, and addressing claims concerning the application, including product-liability, legal-compliance, consumer-protection and intellectual-property claims. If the application fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple may refund the purchase price, if any, as required by Apple’s rules; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as “terrorist supporting” and are not listed on a U.S. Government prohibited or restricted-party list. You must comply with applicable third-party terms, including wireless-data agreements. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce this subsection against you.
28.2 Google Play
If you obtained the Android application through Google Play, these Terms are between you and Soapah, not Google. Your use is also subject to Google Play’s applicable terms. Google is not responsible for the application, its content, maintenance, support or claims relating to it except as required by Google’s terms or applicable law.
28.3 Other Platforms
A platform operator may have additional terms that apply to downloads, billing, refunds, family sharing, device limits, updates and account management. If these Terms conflict with non-waivable platform terms, the platform terms control only to the extent of the conflict.
29. Export Controls and Sanctions
You may not use, export, re-export, transfer or make the Services available in violation of U.S. export-control or sanctions laws or other applicable trade restrictions. You represent that you are not prohibited from receiving the Services under applicable law.
30. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in law, safety practices, features, business operations or platform requirements. The revised Terms will state a new effective date. For material changes, we will provide notice by reasonable means, such as in-app notice, email or a prominent website notice, as required by law. Changes apply prospectively. If you do not agree, stop using the Services and cancel any subscription before the change takes effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
31. General Terms
These Terms, the Privacy Policy and any additional terms presented for a feature, purchase, event or promotion form the entire agreement regarding the Services. If additional terms conflict with these Terms, the additional terms control for that specific feature or transaction. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum lawful extent and the remainder will remain effective, except as expressly stated in the arbitration section. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, reorganization, sale of assets, financing, affiliate transfer or operation of the Services. Headings are for convenience. “Including” means “including without limitation.” Electronic communications and signatures satisfy writing requirements where permitted by law. Neither party is liable for delay caused by events beyond reasonable control, except for payment obligations.
