Let’s talk about our app that’s being built while it is happening and contribute towards making it awesome!

First subject I really want to talk about is the Calendar feature. We sent an email to our email list showing some screenshots. Let us know what you think and what can we improve!

I would love to see the calendar keep up with inventory.  Like...I have 150 bars ready, 20 bars that are 1 week old, and I plan to make 2 2-lb loaves this week...So I should potentially have 190 bars for a craft show (that I put in my calendar) at the end of June.  Each sale would deduct from this total so it's easy to see at a glance how much product I'm on track to have at any given date.

@sudzymama That would be really great. We haven’t really set up the inventory to be connected to calendar. But we can definitely think about ways of adding this in. As a person who is doing sometimes two shows at a time, I would love that as well. I can never keep up with my inventory recording for shows .

An example of how calendar looks with real entries!

@sudzymama I thought about how we can implement this and I think we can put a counter on each date showing the total number of products will be at cured state at that date. Users define the curing date during batch record. We can add a curing date field on the “planning for” section as well, so we can add them to the counter based on that. So when you go on a date, you see the number of total products that will be ready at that date. When you sell something, you can adjust it on the inventory and that will be reflected on this counter. (I do hope to have integration with Etsy/Shopify etc. one day to be able to automate this a bit one day but it is way out of our budget right now.)
Does this sound good?
